I am fighting for my daughter, son, eight godchildren, future grandchildren and a host of cousins + ALL CHILDREN.

I attended Westwood High School.

My heroines are my grandmother, Emma L. Davis. She believed in me and told me so often; Marva D. Collins, because when she saw children not receiving equitable education, she started her own school. Her words were, “There’s a brilliant child locked inside every student.”
